In this program, your dog will learn the training basics, including the following skills and commands under some minor distractions.

• Walk politely on leash with auto-sit

• Sit with duration

• Down with duration

• Place with duration

• Foundation recall work

• Thresholds

• Kennel Up

• Waiting for Food

• Introduction to and understanding of the E-collar

 

This program includes private coaching with the dog’s owner, as follows:

• One week after training begins, one to one and ½ hours with the owner.

• Day of pickup, one to one and ½ hours with the owner

• Follow-ups and check-ins with Karen, are included at no extra charge for up to one year from completion of the program.

 

This program includes three hours of private, one-on-one coaching with the dog’s owner. Ninety minutes of this training will take place on the day of pick-up and another 90-minute session will be scheduled within 30 days of pick-up. All training sessions take place at our training center in Shelton, WA.

During the training periods, Karen will provide the owner with the knowledge and skills required to continue the dog’s training. We will not only focus on the technical side of training but also the owner’s sense of leadership and learning to read the mental balance and stability of the dog in various situations. Karen also teaches the client how to troubleshoot any issues that may come up with the dog in the home and in the future.

All board and trained dogs are welcome to come back for a discounted Board and will be issued E-Collar tune-ups while they visit.
